Fiscal Impact Reviews

Fiscal Analysis Services provides fiscal impact reviews of draft legislation, as required under the Appropriation Act. A fiscal impact review is a "second opinion" on the methods, assumptions, and conclusions of the original fiscal impact statement provided by the executive branch. Fiscal impact reviews can be requested by the chair of a standing committee for legislation before his or her committee.

Fiscal Analysis Services also conducts reviews, upon request of a committee chair, of executive orders, as required under § 30-19.1:12.
