Joint Legislative Audit and Review Commission
(JLARC)
Digital Accessibility Statement
Current Efforts & Status
The Joint Legislative Audit and Review Commission (JLARC) is committed to ensuring JLARC staff are currently reviewing and updating the agency’s website to work toward compliance with the U.S. Department of Justice’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.
Standards & Conformance
JLARC is working to comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards. JLARC’s efforts to comply with these standards apply to digital content, including web content (e.g., site navigation) and documents (e.g., PDF reports and briefings). Specifically:
- Our website has been updated to ensure compatibility with assistive technologies (such as screen readers).
- Legacy materials previously developed and posted on our website are being designated as “archive.”
- Materials developed and posted after the compliance deadline will be optimized for better structural navigation and readability.
